With juniper in steep decline in England, Neil Beckett has undertaken a long-term conservation project in partnership with the National Trust, the Forestry Commission and Natural England to create a new thriving population of English juniper bushes at the aptly named Juniper Top in Surrey. A worthy enterprise and an absolutely superb gin.
