Created by Marcus Pickering and Matthew Gammell from a recipe written down by Marcus’ grandfather in Bombay in 1947 and distilled in the first gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh in over 150 years. Marcus and Matthew carefully balance nine botanicals, heated in an innovative bain marie system designed by Matthew to coax out their subtle flavours gently, to create a beautifully smooth and balanced gin.
Pickering’s Gin starts with fresh citrus, coriander and juniper on the nose. A very aromatic palate with a crisp dry finish. Notes of pine, lavender, sweet anise, liquorice, cinnamon and freshly zested citrus fruits. Perfect with premium tonic.
